PIERRE, S.D. (AP) — A 14-year-old Dupree boy was knocked unconscious by a bull over the weekend at the state 4-H Rodeo Finals in Fort Pierre. A relative says he's OK.

Lane Eaton was taken to a Pierre hospital after being knocked out Sunday while riding the bull. He was wearing a helmet with a facemask while competing.

Grandfather Shayne Claymore told the Capital Journal that his grandson will be fine, though doctors were keeping the boy overnight for observation.
