Back pain is one of the most common health complaints in the world, according to statistics from the National Institutes of Health. In fact 8 out of 10 people will, at some point in their lives be affected by back pain. If you're one of them and you're wondering if there is help for you, you'll want to take in this seminar.

Let's Talk Back is being presented by the Avera Brain and Spine Institute tonight at 6:30 at the Prairie Center Presentation Room. Dr. Thomas Ripperda, a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehab and Dr. Henk Klopper, a neurosurgeon will be on hand to discuss ways of dealing with back and neck pain.

And unlike in my case, surgery is not always the only alternative to relieving your pain. Even the surgery that I did have over a decade ago has changed radically. I had anterior and posterior fusion of my lower back, which literally meant I was filleted like a fish from stem to stern front and back and a whole lot of titanium was added to my spine. Now the same surgery can be done laparoscopically through a few incisions.

If you would like some advice and perhaps a solution, don't miss the "Let's Talk Back" Seminar. For more information, call 1-877-282-8372.
