Brad Teameyer, Meterorologist for the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls, says the region is soaked from the rain.

"The storm worked its way down to Northwest Iowa.  That's where we saw the heaviest rain overnight with the area basically extending from Sheldon down toward Cherokee and into the Storm Lake areas overnight getting 4 to 7 inches
