Not only is its population increasing at a faster level than any other city in the Mount Rushmore State, but it's also growing more quickly than all other areas in the entire Midwest, and it doesn't appear to be slowing down at any point in the near future.
This Day in History: It was a dark day June 9, 1972 for South Dakota as heavy rains pelted the Black Hills. Before the clouds lifted on June 11, 238 perished.
