‘Supernatural‘ has sprung for more than its share of gimmicks and gimmicky guest stars, but even we’re scratching our head at March 18 installment “Blade Runners.” Sam and Dean will re-team with Crowley in their quest to find the First Blade, which somehow involves a run-in with everyone’s favorite ‘Jersey Shore’ star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, as seen in the full set of photos from the hour!
Judging by what we can tell, Crowley will be sinking deeper into his apparent addiction to human blood, forcing Sam and Dean to step in and motivate the deposed Hell king to continue their search for a weapon capable of killing Abaddon. Dean seems to be getting his bloodlust on when Crowley finally tracks down the blade, but if that weren’t frightening enough, Snooki comes into play! For reasons!
Here’s what The CW had to say of March 18’s “Blade Runners”:
CROWLEY SINKS DEEPER INTO HIS ADDICTION; NICOLE “SNOOKI” POLIZZI APPEARS IN A CAMEO ROLE
Dean (Jensen Ackles) is frustrated when he can’t reach Crowley (Mark Sheppard), who has promised to find The First Blade. When Crowley finally calls Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean, he tells them he fell off the wagon and has been injecting human blood and needs their help.
To make matters worse, he had a demon (guest star Rebecca Marshall) helping him find blood, but she sold him out and told Abaddon that he and the Winchesters were searching for The First Blade. The brothers need to find the blade before Abaddon does, so they enlist the help of a former member of the Men of Letters (guest star Kavan Smith). Meanwhile, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi appears in a cameo role.
Not exactly illuminating with regard to Snooki, but what say you? Will Sam and Dean’s season 9 journey to kill Abaddon and restore the angels to Heaven get any weirder? How much longer before the ‘Supernatural: Tribes‘ come into play? Take a look at “Blade Runners” in the photos below, and give us your predictions underneath!
