To be honest I don't care for flying commercial planes.  People are crabby.  And  If you’ve been in a plane you’ve probably come into contact with a random person’s poo.

That's right ... fecal matter. Airline workers and studies of E.coli on aircraft have revealed the most likely places in a plane to find microscopic bits of poo, and it freaks me out.

These are the Top 4 Places You'll Touch Poo In An Airplane:

1-The armrest. That’s right, the humble arm rest is the most disgusting place on a plane that you’re likely to come into contact. It has the highest levels of E.coli, according to Auburn University. The bug can survive there for 96 hours. That’s four days. Let your neighbor have the armrest.

2– The tray table. A former flight attendant for Southwest Airlines in the U.S. told Reddit: ‘If you have ever spread your peanuts on your tray and eaten, or recently touched your tray at all, you have more than likely ingested baby poo. I saw more dirty diapers laid out on those trays than food. I have seen passengers change their baby’s diaper on the tray table, and cut their fingernails on board.’

3– The toilet handle. E.coli can only live 48 hours on a toilet handle.

4– The carpets and floors. One member of cabin crew said: ‘I have seen passengers even urinate in the seats. The carpets are filthy and the toilet floors are worse.’ Don’t go barefoot, whatever you do.
