Proving once again there are no more original ideas left in Hollywood, I see that Mark Wahlberg has been cast to be your new bionic man.

That's right, they're remaking the "Six Million Dollar Man!"

Step aside Lee Majors, the actor of course who played the original Six Million Dollar Man back in the 1970's for all of you old enough to remember.

Marky, Mark Wahlberg will be the new Colonel Steve Austin.

The astronaut who almost lost his life in a horrific experimental plane crash, one that left him tragically injured and in desperate need of some new spare parts, like a right arm, a couple of legs, and a left eye.

Lucky for him, Rudy Wells and the federal government boys had the technology to rebuild him. They were able to make him better, stronger, faster!

Cchichichichichichichi...beepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeep...doodoodoodoodoodoo!

You remember the old bionic sound effect noises from the TV show right? They're classic!

The new movie will be set in present time, so with the cost of inflation he now becomes the "Six Billion Dollar Man!"

Hey, let's face it, the cost of bionic parts has gone threw the roof throughout the years. Six million just doesn't buy you a whole lot anymore. You'd be lucky to get a bionic hand for that these days.

Now for the burning questions, who will play Oscar Goldman? Whoever they cast has to be able to say "Steve!" right.

Will the bionic woman be in the movie? Will we see a cameo appearance from the bionic dog?  (You get bonus points if you can remember the bionic dogs name.)  Will Steve Austin fight Bigfoot?

Okay, I'll quit being a geek now. Sorry!

The answers to all these questions will come sometime in 2016. That is when the movie is slated to hit theaters.
