The Sioux Falls Stampede may have just won the Clark Cup for the second time in team history, but the head coach is on his way to a rival team.

There have been rumblings for a few weeks that the Stampede and Cary Eades were far apart in getting a new deal accomplished. Now that the season is over, Eades has found a new home.

The Sioux Falls Stampede confirmed on Wednesday that Cary Eades has taken a job with the Fargo Force. In a statement released, Stampede CEO/President Tom Garrity is thankful for what Eades brought to Sioux Falls.

"We want to thank Cary for his contributions to the club over the last three years, including a championship this past season. We appreciate what he has done to put a winning product back onto the ice and wish him nothing but the best in Fargo" - Tom Garrity

The Sioux Falls Stampede will announce a new head coach on Thursday at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. Fans are welcomed to attend the press conference, which will begin at 3:30.
