SPEARFISH, S.D. (AP) — The Spearfish City Council is holding a special session Monday night to wrap up financial issues and make several appointments to boards and committees.

The Rapid City Journal reports that the 6 p.m. special session at city hall will be preceded by a combined meeting of the city's legal, finance, public safety and public works committees.

Mayor Dana Boke says the city is dealing with the aftermath of the October storm, the collapse of the TMone building and finding temporary quarters for its 225 employees, the returning of the Elkhorn Ridge Golf Course and the special election on annexation of the upper and lower valley.

The council will also consider $3.25 million in bond documents for the city's Golliher Tank project, supplemental requests and mayoral appointments.
