South Dakota Truckers Against Sex Trafficking
The crackdown on sex trafficking is continues in South Dakota. Only this time, truckers are being asked to put an end to the crime.
“DVD’s and other materials will be presented to drivers including window stickers that gives them quick access to an 800 number to call when they see this type of activity taking place,” explained Myron Rau, president of the South Dakota Trucking Association. “We basically talk to the drivers and tell them what they should be looking for and what information they need to collect or having at their fingertips when they call the number.”
Rau says South Dakota has become the 14th state to adopt the “Truckers Against Trafficking” program.
