The University of South Dakota put on a three-point shooting clinic in front of a crowd of 5,080 in Vermillion Wednesday night, in the semifinals of the 2016 WNIT, knocking down 15 triples in a 88-54 blowout of Oregon.

The Coyotes (31-6) hit 12 of their first 14 long range shots of the game against the Ducks, and finished 15-of-21 from behind the arc. Caitlin Duffy led the charge with four three-pointers.

Six South Dakota players scored in double figures. Abigail Fogg and Kelly Stewart each scored 14 points, Tia Hemiller added 13, Duffy 12, Jasmine Trimboli 11, and Nicole Seekamp 10.

The Coyotes led by ten after the first quarter, by 14 at halftime, and blew the game open, outscoring Oregon 29-7 in the third quarter.

USD is in the WNIT Championship for the first time and will host the winner of Thursday's Florida-Gulf Coast - Michigan semifinal in the title game, Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM. The game will be broadcast nationally on the CBS Sports Network.
