After a shaky first half of the Summit League schedule, the South Dakota Coyotes have moved back to within a game of .500 in the standings with five games to play.

For the third straight game, USD will take the court trying to avenge a first half loss when they host IUPUI Saturday afternoon at the DakotaDome.

The Coyotes made it two straight in 'payback' games with a 13-point win over Fort Wayne Thursday night, the game came less than a month after the Mastodons beats USD by 18 in Indiana.

Saturday the Coyotes try to reverse a 21-point loss at IUPUI last month when the welcome the Jaguars to Vermillion.  IUPUI comes in tied with SDSU for the top spot in the Summit League after ten games.

USD beat IUPUI three times last season, but the Jags blew open a close game in the first meeting this year.

IUPUI is led by all-conference player DeAirra Goss, who scored a career high 27 points in the first meeting, but it's the play of Nicole Rogers that also has USD coach Amy Williams' attention.  Rogers has seen her scoring average go up since league play began, and she burned South Dakota State last weekend with five 3-pointers:

Tipoff is 2:00pm Saturday in Vermillion.
