In November and December of 2013, the Skyforce only lost three games.  In the new year, Sioux Falls is 0-3 including a 116-109 loss to the Los Angeles D-Fenders at the NBA Development League Showcase in Reno, Nevada Monday night.

On Sunday night a Bakersfield blitzkrieg was the order of business.  Against Los Angeles (10-9), the barrage waited until the third quarter to arrive.  An 11-0 run turned a 4 point deficit into a 69-62 lead which the D-Fenders held for the balance.  Overall in the 3rd frame, Los Angeles put up a 41-spot.  For the second straight night, the bench provided the big numbers with Brandon Costner piling up 24 points and 7 rebounds and James Southerland chipped in 21 points and 6 caroms.

For Sioux Falls (11-6) Justin Hamilton shook off his shooting blues to put up a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds with Henry Walker and Anthony Mason, Jr. adding 17 counters apiece.

Ironically, Tulsa will be the next opponent for both Skyforce and the D-Fenders.   Los Angeles will face the 66ers Tuesday night at the Showcase.  Meanwhile Sioux Falls will play at Tulsa Friday and Saturday.
