Another week, another gauntlet the Sioux Falls Skyforce must navigate.  Last week, the schedule was back loaded toward the weekend and strong on the opposition based on record.  This week the schedule is a little more wide spread with teams sporting fewer wins and a few more miles to travel.

Tuesday night features a second installment with contending Canton (25-15) in enemy territory.  The Charge won the Sunday contest by 9 points, by pulling away in the fourth quarter.  Next comes a one-off in Tulsa (17-22) on Thursday who has cooled off in March after a torrid Feburary.  The week concludes with a Saturday night home date with the Springfield Armor (17-23) at the Sanford Pentagon.

In playoff push perspective, Sioux Falls (23-17) stands 1.5 games ahead of Idaho (21-18) for the final postseason spot.  Winning 2 of 3 games this week will assure that the Skyforce will have no worse than a .500 record for the 2013-14 campaign.  Looming on the schedule are two head-to-head games with Idaho which could seal the playoff field depending on the result.

Consider this: entering play on March 11, the top team in the league has 26 wins and the eighth best has 23.  In such a tightly bunched arrangement, each game has huge implications.
