SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — History repeats itself — and it's also bulky.

The Siouxland Heritage Museums in Sioux Falls is running out of space to keep boxes of memorabilia on Sioux Falls and Minnehaha County.

The Argus Leader reports that the City Council has approved budgeting $1.3 million next year toward an archive storage facility.

Land has been donated for the building, and the county has been supportive of the $3.9 million project. Each government would contribute $1.3 million.

But the contribution hinges on whether selling donated land around the site can net at least $1.3 million to pay for the remainder.
