Sioux Falls Teen Killed

A one vehicle crash has claimed the life of a Sioux Falls woman. Law enforcement authorities report say two occupants were traveling south on I-29 Friday night when the driver lost control at the Baltic exit.

Nineteen-year old Ashley Heesch was pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger, 18-year old Makenzie Brown, sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries and was treated at a Sioux Falls hospital.

According to Highway Patrol both were not wearing seat belts.
