Gaylynn Huber of Sioux Falls Streets says several road projects are about to be finished.

"On 14th street between Minnesota and Phillips---we're going to open that next week fully to traffic.  There's going to be some work yet to be done on the shoulders, sidewalk, curb---stuff like that. But, it will soon be open to traffic.  The other major project is North Cliff Avenue.  That's been under construction all summer.  They have been working for the last several weeks at the intersection of Cliff and 60th street north.  That's going to fully open next week to traffic."

Right now, Gaylynn says his crews are gearing up for winter.  "Since September, our folks have been working on putting together the spinners on our sanders.  Just last week, we discussed the six snow gate areas so we have our test sites to go.  We have the snow gates attached.  Now, we'll wait for the snow to arrive."
