Chad Campbell, Executive Director of the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House, says the Sioux Falls facility is in need of volunteers.

"We deal a lot with individuals in our community and serve a diverse population. We offer so much for those residents that want to give of their time to assist others. Perhaps, they like to work with adult males or single moms or children. We can provide those volunteer opportunities because we serve such a wide variety of clients at the Dudley House."

Campbell says a number of volunteer opportunities are available at the Dudley House.

"We try to focus on one of two areas. First is usually the lunch program. We serve lunch to both the men and women as well as families. That starts at 11:30 A.M. Monday to Friday. Later on we have our evening check in process that begins at 6:30 P.M. Usually it's about an hour. Volunteers assist by getting the individuals signed in and having them complete an in take form. They also help them become familiar with the facility."

If you would like to help out, Campbell encourages you to contact the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House. The number is 809-8424. Ask for the volunteer coordinator.

Since the facility opened last January, over three hundred residents have given their time.
