Sioux Falls Salvation Army Finds Gold Kettles
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — The Salvation Army says two gold bars valued at more than $1,200 each were dropped in kettles in Sioux Falls.
The Argus Leader reports that one bar was dropped this week in a kettle wrapped in a note that said "Bell Ringers are Special People."
Spokesman Steve Cook says another gold bar was dropped in a kettle in Sioux Falls about three weeks ago.
