Sioux Falls RibFest Traffic Will Be Gnarly This Weekend But Could Have Been Worse

Getting to RibFest in Sioux Falls is not as daunting as it would have been one month ago.

A major highway project on West 12th Street has moved east of the main intersection that leads to the south entrance to the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds.  Weeks ago, getting off I-29 and going east was troublesome at best.

The accompanying video shows the intersection today and a look to the Big Sioux River bridge where you can barely see the crews patching the concrete.  Traffic can get through in both directions however there are fewer lanes to move the traffic.
