Sioux Falls Resident Arrested for Having Sexual Contact with a Minor

Sioux Falls Police Information Officer Sam Clemens says an 18-year old boy was taken into custody after he was found with a 15-year old girl.

"They were actually parked in the 3400 block of South Bedford Avenue in Sioux Falls.  There is a business there and the officer noticed a car parked there. The officers did some investigating and found that there was sexual contact between the two individuals. The 18-year old was arrested for having sexual contact with a minor."

Aside from the arrest of the 18-year old Sioux Falls resident, Sioux Falls Police responded to a strong armed robbery on Sunday.

"The guy was walking near the Banquet Sunday night. A car apparently pulled up along side him. The guys in the car invited him inside. He got a ride probably about six or seven blocks. Once they stopped, these guys drug him out of the car and beat him up a bit. They took his wallet and left."

Clemens says the investigation into the incident is continuing.
