The radio world we in the business live in is small. Know someone today, work with them tomorrow. Work with someone 10 years ago, they're competitors today. Our industry reaches many, still our circle of broadcasters is small.

When I read this morning that Cade, long time morning show host on KRRO in Sioux Falls had some big time health issues going on it caught my eye.

I don't know Cade.  I only met him a couple of times while our paths crossed doing remote broadcasts. But I do know this. Even though we've competed against each other in the radio world I couldn't help but wonder, if something like this happened to me, would anyone do or say anything?

Leave it to Ben Holsen from Minneapolis to start a Go Fund Me Page for Cade. I don't know Ben, but I do know his Dad-Reid. He would smile and say, well done Ben.

Cade worked at KRRO for years. He recently took a job with Badlands Radio. The fact that Cade had something like this is bad enough. The timing and discovery will probably amplify the situation.

Here's what the Go Fund Me Page that Ben Hosen set up says.

Cade was taken, by ambulance, to the Emergency Room following intense seizures August 7th.

There, a mass inside his brain was discovered.

As Cade's friends, we're setting up this account to help him pay for the vast cost of this life event.

After more Doctor visits, while waiting for surgery and the following treatment, we ask you kindly give what you can to help.

Cade is optimistic in a full recovery no matter the time required.

Competitor or not, here's to a speedy and complete recovery from your radio brethren across the street at Results Radio-Townsquare Media.
