Before you know it, the indoor aquatic center will be a reality. If you’re curious how it’s moving along, a sneak peak is available.

The City of Sioux Falls as set up a web cam so that you now can watch the construction of the indoor aquatic center at Spellerberg Park. Whether it’s from your computer or mobile device, you can go to siouxfalls.org/webcam to watch construction progress in real time.

“This new feature will help build excitement and provide incredible footage of our new indoor aquatic center being built,” says Don Kearney, Director of Parks and Recreation. “Any time you want to observe the progress of this exciting project, you can quickly take a look from your computer, tablet, or smartphone.”

Construction of the new indoor aquatic center is on schedule to be enclosed by winter. The facility will open in the fall of 2016.

During construction of the indoor aquatic center, the areas of Spellerberg Park outside of the construction perimeter fence are available for use by the general public. As with any construction site, please use caution and actively supervise children near the area.
