It’s the biggest event to ever hit the Sioux Falls area!

Prior to the mega-convention, Teri Schmidt of the Sioux Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau attended the 2017 National Pheasant Fest and Quail Classic in Minneapolis over the weekend.

“There are so many people from so many areas around the United States who are here. There are dogs all over. There is hunting gear, clothing, machinery---there is everything you can imagine that has anything to do with hunting.“

Teri says the 2018 National Pheasant Fest and Quail Classic will take place in Sioux Falls.

“They will be be spread out between the Denny Sanford Premier Center, the Sioux Falls Convention Center and the Arena. This whole area of Sioux Falls is going to be just packed with all these vendors, conventions, convention goers---I think it’s going to be something we have never seen in Sioux Falls before.”

Teri says the entire state will benefit from the event!

“This is millions and millions of dollars for Sioux Falls and in fact the state of South Dakota. When these people are here, they are going to be looking at land, lodges and places they can hunt in South Dakota. This is about our whole state although Sioux Falls will be the immediate host.”

Teri says her staff showcased the facilities and amenities that Sioux Falls has to offer while at the Minneapolis event.
