Sioux Falls Police Searching For Stolen Boa Constrictor

It's not your everyday police call!

Sioux Falls Police Spokesman Sam Clemens says a pet Boa Constrictor was reported stolen from a home in southwest Sioux Falls by its owner.

"The homeowner found a window that was open when he got home. The only thing he realized that was missing---his small Boa Constrictor. The Sioux Falls man said it was about 18 inches long."

Clemens says police have no suspects at this time.

"So at this point, we don't know who was in the house. But, somebody walked out with a snake."

Clemens says the snake is valued at one hundred dollars.
