Sioux Falls Police Investigate Two Babies’ Injuries
Sioux Falls Police are investigating two cases of injured babies.
Information officer Sam Clemens says police were called to Sanford Hospital Thursday afternoon after a woman brought in her injured baby girl who is less than a year old. He would not talk about the child's injuries.
Around the same time, staff at Avera McKennan Hospital called about a 13-month-old boy who had been brought in by his parents with a head injury.
Clemens says the infant had been at an in-home day care. He says both investigations are continuing and other details are not being released.
