Sioux Falls Police: Child Porn Suspect’s Body Found

Sioux Falls Police Information Officer Sam Clemens says a man who had been on the Minnehaha County Most Wanted List has been found dead.

"A van was parked in front of Home Depot and had been there for a while they called it in. Kevin Harty was found inside the van. We are treating this as any other death investigation. But, it does not appear to be anything suspicious."

Clemens says authorities began searching for Narty when he didn't appear in court at the end of October.

"Right! There was a trial coming up for possession of child pornography and he did not appear for that. There was a warrant that had been issued by the judge. Harty went missing so we were looking for him as a missing person."

Harty was arrested in 2013 after law enforcement reportedly found child pornography at his home.
