Sioux Falls Police Officer Sam Clemens says a Brandon man was bitten by the owner of a car he was attempting to repossess.

"This guy was going to repossess a car (2006 Chrysler 300) he saw at a gas station located at 57th and Marion Road on Friday. He went to grab the keys that were in the vehicle. The owner came out. There was some pushing and shoving that happened. The victim dropped his phone inside the car. When he went to retrieve it, the owner ended up biting the man on the finger. The victim ended up going to the hospital and was told he had a broken finger. The suspect drove away with his car."

Clemens says police know who the suspect is but have not found him yet.

In another incident over the weekend, Clemens says a 40-year-old man faces a variety of charges following a pursuit on Saturday.

"An officer saw a car that was speeding on North Marion road. He went to stop it and the driver ended up driving his car at an officer who was outside the car. He ended up running into a second patrol car. There was a pursuit that happened. Eventually the car was disabled. The man got out and wasn't listening to the instructions from the officers. They then used a taser on him. They were able to arrest him. He was charged with several felony charges along with DWI Third."
