(AP) - Sioux Falls police arrested a man on suspicion of armed robbery of a convenience store after discovering him in another person's car in the store's parking lot.

Police say the man walked into the Get-n-Go on Minnesota Avenue about 9:20 p.m. Friday, displayed a small-caliber air gun and threatened the two clerks. After one of the clerks wrestled away the gun, the man left the store and told a woman sitting in her parked car to get out.

She took her keys as she got out, and responding officers found the man sitting in the car.

The man was booked in the Minnehaha County jail on a count of armed robbery, two counts of aggravated assault and one count of tampering with a vehicle. Formal charges are pending.
