I Love Life: Sioux Falls Mother of 10 Loves Life!

During a recent church service in Sioux Falls, members were sharing testimony about faith, family and community.  One of them was Sara Thulin, the mother of ten beautiful children!

So what does it take to parent 10 children?

"Patience!  A lot of patience.  You learn not to sit down.  Once you get up in the morning at three thirty, your day keeps going and you don't sit down until the evening activities.  I also home school and that's a big challenge.  Although a large family can be stressful, it has a lot of rewards."

Sara say motherhood is a blessing in her life!

"They love you!  It's neat to see these little kids just grow and develop year after year.  What's great is seeing the older children helping the younger ones---pulling and working together.  It takes many skills that they have to learn as part of being members of a big family.  I love to see the little ones cheering on the older children---they get so excited!

If you're going though difficult times right now, Sara says faith is the answer!

"Miracles happen!  I know that with the Lord on your side, anything is possible.  I know you're going to have your trials and you're going to fall like everybody else.  But, I know that things will get better.  There is room for everybody for succeed.  And everybody can succeed.  Eventually, they will  figure it out."

No doubt about it---Sara Thulin is a mother, teacher and a woman of faith who loves life every moment of every day!!
