Sioux Falls Police Information Officer Sam Clemens says Tuesday night officers received a call asking for authorities to check the well being of three children in an apartment at the 200 block of North French Avenue. The caller said there was drug use going on in the apartment with children were present.

Clemens says officers arrived and learned the person renting the apartment had a warrant along with another person in the apartment.

Once inside, Clemens says officers smelled marijuana.  The adults were arrested and the children were taken into protective custody.  A search warrant was done on the apartment.  Marijuana and Meth were present.

Clemens says the mother, 33 year old Tonya Lynn  Dillon, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of controlled substances, maintaining a place where drugs are sold and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
