Sioux Falls Man Sentenced on Child Pornography Charges
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — A Sioux Falls man has been sentenced to 14 years in federal prison for possession of child pornography.
U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says 22-year-old Avugwi Alvarez was sentenced Tuesday. Alvarez pleaded guilty to receipt of child pornography in January.
Authorities say Alvarez also must register as a sex offender after his release.
