Sioux Falls Man Robbed While In Bed, Two Suspects Sought

An 86-year-old Sioux Falls man was robbed while in bed just before midnight Sunday.

Police Department Public Information Officer Sam Clemens says the man woke up to find two male suspects in his home.

"Two suspects kicked in the man's back door. Both of them were armed with handguns and had ski masks covering their faces. They ended up coming into his bedroom. The two took his wallet that contained cash and then left. Thankfully the man was not injured. We really don't have much of a description. Both suspects are black men and about six feet tall, weighing about 150 pounds."

Clemens says the robbery carries felony charges.

"Right! The amount of cash taken is over a thousand dollars."

The robbery took place in the 2500 Block of South Center Avenue in Sioux Falls.
