SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — A man convicted in a string of five casino and convenience store armed robberies in Sioux Falls last year has been sentenced to 30 years in prison and ordered to pay about $1,500 in restitution.

Authorities say anonymous calls to police by 22-year-old Domach Khai led to his capture in January. Khai said he placed the calls and gave details about the robberies out of a sense of guilt.

He reached a plea agreement with prosecutors that capped his prison sentence at 35 years. Judge Joseph Neiles gave him 30 years and said he would revisit the sentence in two years and consider a significant reduction.
