A report of a driver going the wrong way on the Interstate led the arrest of a Sioux Falls man Wednesday for his thirteenth DUI.

The Minnesota State Patrol posted on their Facebook page that they were called for a report of a white van going the wrong way on I-90 near Worthington. The officer did not see anyone driving in the wrong direction but did eventually find a white van and pulled it over.

The officer, after noticing some cans between the seats and a case of beer on the passenger side floor, conducted the normal field sobriety tests on the driver, 50 year-old Alexander Valentinovich Sazonov, and arrested him.

Saranov admitted to drinking a few of the beers. Later at the Nobles County Jail, a breathalyzer test registered a 0.24 blood alcohol content. His most recent DUI happened in 2013 and his first was in 1988.
