With all of the snow we've seen lately, watering your lawn has probably been the last thing on your mind.  Hopefully we'll get enough rain this spring and summer so you won't have to worry about this, but the City of Sioux Falls Public Works Department is changing the lawn watering schedule.

According to a press release from the City, beginning May 10, the existing lawn watering schedule will change from once per week to odd/even.  All residential, commercial, industrial, and City facilities are required to follow Stage 1 lawn watering.

Consumers having even-numbered addresses may water their lawns on even-numbered calendar dates.

Consumers having odd-numbered addresses may water their lawns on odd-numbered calendar dates.

Lawn watering is NOT allowed between the hours of 12 noon and 5 p.m.
