Sioux Falls JazzFest Wants Local Musicians

Well over 100,000 people attend Sioux Falls JazzFest every summer and this July should be no different. Festival organizers are looking for submissions from local and regional musicians to play on the festival's second stage.

We are proud of the amount of talented musicians that call this area home and we always try to feature many of them each summer, regardless of genre. You don't have to be a jazz band or a blues band to perform at JazzFest as evidenced by past years performers.

From experienced musicians to rising talents, from bluesgrass, to Americana, to rap and funk, all musicians are encouraged to apply.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, February 28, 2014.
