Backed by a rather mild. comfortable weather forecast, night two of JazzFest 25 is Friday, July 15, 2016 at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls.

Temperatures are expected to be in the upper 70's with light winds when the evening of entertainment beings on the festival's two stages.

Here's the Friday lineup:

Main Stage

Formed in Chicago back in 1998, the band dabbles in a little bit of everything, from Psychedelia to Americana, from Jazz to 50’s Rock n’ Roll Music.

Over the years, they toured with the likes of Gov’t Mule, Buddy Guy, Wilco, Taj Mahal, Marc Ford, ZZ Top, T-Model Ford, North Mississippi All Stars, Leon Russell, Drive-By Truckers, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Cheap Trick, Bad Company and Heart.

Their new album, Shake Your Faith, was released in April.

A Louisiana native, Chubby started behind the drums in his father's band at age 12, before moving to the accordion three years later. By 17, Chubby had begun to play with Terrance Siemien and toured the world for 2 1/2 years, before forming his own band in 1989.

He has released ten CDs. His latest is Zydeco Stuff.

Kenny Wayne Shepherd is a guitar phenom who signed his first record deal at age 16.

The Louisiana native has seen six of his albums debut at #1 on the Billboard Blues chart.

His latest release is Goin’ Home, and features guest performances from a couple of JazzFest alums - Joe Walsh and Fabulous Thunderbirds frontman Kim Wilson. Also appearing on the album are Ringo Starr, Warren Haynes, Keb’ Mo’ and Robert Randolph.

10:00 PM - The Fray

This Denver-based band was formed in 2002 by schoolmates Isaac Slade and Joe King.

Their 2005 debut album, How to Save a Life, went double platinum and produced the top ten hits, "Over My Head (Cable Car)" and "How to Save a Life". The Fray's 2009 self-titled, second album, debuted at number-one on the Billboard charts and was nominated for a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album.

The Fray is presented by Midco.

Second Stage

  • 6:00 PM - Condor

This three-piece 3-piece string band from Sioux Falls mixes cello, guitar and banjo to create their own style of 'Creamgrass' music - a mash-up of bluegrass, gypsy jazz, and indie rock. Condor released their debut album, Poega, in 2015.

  • 7:30 PM - Union Grove Pickers

Based out of Sioux Falls, the Union Grove Pickers showcase their brand of string-driven Americana music throughout the region, ranging from old-time standards to contemporary originals. The band release their third album, Scattered & Sown, in 2015.

  • 9:00 PM - VALLEYHILL

VALLEYHILL is a Sioux Falls based, four-piece alternative rock group that launched in 2015.  In the past year, they've released two EP’s, three singles, and four music videos.

The video for the song 'Wake Forest' was shot in downtown Sioux Falls.
