Simon Cowell is a Dad

Simon Cowell's girlfriend has given birth.

Lauren Silverman gave birth to a healthy baby boy in New York City today (February 14) at 4:45 PM CST and weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces.  The baby's name is Eric, which is Simon's dad's name.

Simon was in London when he got the news Lauren went into labor and flew across the pond to be by her side.
