A fire behind a business sign brought Sioux Falls Fire Rescue crews out early Monday to the 5300 block of West 26th Street.

Battalion Chief Steve Brunette says managers from TC's Referee and the building reported a fire on the east side of the building around 1:45am.

First crews found smoldering embers behind an American Family Insurance sign. They cut into the soffit and roof and had the fire out in a few minutes.

The fire did not get into the main building. No one was injured and the cause is under investigation.
