The Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office said an Aberdeen man, Tanner Dvorak, may be connected to burglaries in a three state region.

"There are a number of people linked to these burglaries---from Aberdeen to Minnesota, possibly Iowa, rural Minnehaha County, Sioux Falls, Lincoln County and Turner County," Sgt. Jason Gearman explained. "That can be expanded further as we continue our investigation and finding out where all this property is."

Gearman said we can expect more arrests in the near future.

"Right now we are sorting through a lot of cases and a lot of property. We
are hoping to get the stolen items back to the owners as soon as possible. But, due to the large number of items---we are going to need time to review what has been stolen. If someone reports an item that was stolen---eventually we will get to it and contact them. It's tough to take their phone calls right now because of all the requests we have at this tine."

Gearman says the value of the stolen goods in in the tens of thousands of dollars.

Dvorak, who was arrested this week in Sioux Falls, is being held on warrants out of Brown County.
