Sheriff: 61-Year-Old Langford Man Dies in Farm Accident

LANGFORD, S.D. (AP) — Authorities say a 61-year-old Langford man has died in a farm accident.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says Scott Tobin was found Monday night, pinned under the box of a hydraulic grain truck.

Deputy Ryan Vrchota says Tobin had been adding hydraulic fluid to a reservoir at the time of the accident. He said it appears the box had been raised, then it lowered while Tobin was filling the reservoir.

The deputy says he doesn't know how the box came down on Tobin.
