South Dakota's newest U.S. Senator will get an upgrade to his hometown field office. Sen. Mike Rounds and his staff are moving into the Hyde Building in South Dakota's capital city.

Because Rounds lives in Fort Pierre, the field office will also likely serve as his state headquarters. Among other tenants in the Hyde Building is the federal public defender's office.

Since being elected in November, Rounds' staff has been in an old real estate building near the state capitol, which was also his campaign headquarters. Rounds also has offices in Sioux Falls and Rapid City.

To contact Rounds’ Sioux Falls office call 605-336-0486. The Rapid City office number is 605-343-5035.
