SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - U.S. Sen. Tim Johnson says he's accepting applications for fall internship positions in his Washington, Sioux Falls, Rapid City and Aberdeen offices.

Johnson says the Washington internship program matches interns' interests to South Dakota and federal issues and provides an opportunity to attend hearings and research issues for projects.

Internships in the state offices let students work with current issues affecting the state and provide the opportunity to work directly with South Dakotans.

College sophomores, juniors, seniors and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
