See South Dakota DNC Delegation Introduced in Lakota Language
The South Dakota delegation at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia provided the votes to make Secretary Clinton the official Democratic nominee for President Tuesday night. That delegation also had a significant Native American representation.
State Representative Shawn Bordeaux who represents District 26B, and is a member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe, introduced the delegation in the Lakota language.
Bordeaux began the state delegation's roll call with, "Hau mitakuyepi na mitakolapi." See the whole thing in the video above.
