Imagine waking up to some of these "gifts" in your stocking on Christmas morning. Some of them would make you want to go back to bed.

The good folks at 24/7 Wall St. identified the top holiday gifts in each state based on searches on Amazon and Google for the upcoming holiday shopping season. Sure, the new Sony Playstation and the Echo show up quite often - but then there's the just plain weird.

Take Alabama, for instance. Their top gift for Christmas is duct tape. But it's the Gorilla kind, so it's a pretty solid product. In Montana, it's a 3M Respirator mask! What do they know that we don't?

In South Dakota, the "party game for horrible people", Cards Against Humanity, is the top search for Christmas!

Minnesota's top gift could be a gift card to the gaming website Steam. But all is not lost. If you live in Tennessee you could get Tupperware for the holidays and nothing rings in the birth of our Savior like food storage.
