Sammy Kershaw Is Back with a New Single and Album

Whenever one of the truly great voices in country music history releases a new album, well, that's just plain out flat good news!

And so it is with pleasure that I tell you one of our favorites, Sammy Kershaw, released a new album earlier this month titled 'I Won't Back Down'. And thank goodness he won't!

Sammy is one of those artists that is proudly a true country music artist. Here at KXRB and KXRB.com we are essentially about two things. 1) We play the biggest hits in country music history by the legendary artists. And 2) We play new country music if its, well, country music.

And if you need a true 'country music' song, Sammy fits the bill. From the time I first heard 'Cadillac Style' in 1991 right on through 1992's 'Yard Sale' (my personal favorite) and all the rest of his great hits, Sammy has kept it country.

So it was great when we received the single 'Chillin' and Grillin'. Not only country, but one of those perfect country songs as we head into summertime.
