The retail chain Ross Dress for Less will be opening a store in Sioux Falls. The discount department chain is expanding across the US and will debut a new location in the Shoppes at Lake Lorraine development in Sioux Falls.

The Lake Lorraine development is located west of Interstate 29 between South Marion Road on the west, 26th Street on the north, and 41st Street on the south. Ross Dress for Less, has leased 22,000 square foot space at the Shoppes at Lake Lorraine.

The Ross Dress for Less is the second of six retailers that will be part of the Shoppes at Lake Lorraine. Hobby Lobby being the first. Plans for the development include retail, dining, office and residential space.

In a press release, Van Buskirk Companies, one of the developers behind the project, described Lake Lorraine as a lifestyle center, a place to "Live, Dine, Work, Shop, Play and Stay." They say that the development will feature a dedicated, interactive one-mile Lake Walk that will be available to the entire community to enjoy.

An opening date has not been announced.
