After nearly four decades in the country music business, Ronnie McDowell has released a new autobiography, titled Bringing It to You Personally.

The singer penned his new project with Scot England. Bringing It to You Personally includes more than 100 photos to accompany stories from McDowell's personal and professional life, including the his entrance into popular country music with "The King Is Gone," which honored Elvis Presley after his death. The book also outlines McDowell's friendships with some of country's biggest stars, including George Jones and Conway Twitty.

“I have been able to work with and get to know just about everyone in country music. And I am able to share my memories of those special times and special people,” McDowell says in a press release. “There are some funny stories about a lot of the country stars. And yes, I name names!”

After the release of "The King Is Gone," McDowell went on to craft more than 20 studio albums. Thirty of his singles hit the Top 40 on the Billboard country charts, and two -- "Older Women" and "You're Gonna Ruin My Bad Reputation" -- reached No. 1.

“My fans have been asking me to write a book for more than 20 years," McDowell says. "I have always said it would probably not happen, but last year, I thought maybe the time was right to tell the real story of my life."

Autographed copies of Bringing It to You Personally are available for purchase on RonnieMcDowellBook.com.
