At the National NAFB Convention in Kansas City, we talked about crop protection with FMC Corporation. We interviewed Rick Ekins.

I asked Rick to talk about the product that was tested this summer. A system that mounts on the planter for applying crop protection products.

He said, "We had 35 commercial units on farms this year to validate that it does what we expect it to do."

I also wanted information on a new product called ETHOSXB. A product offering two types of protection in a single jug.

Rick told us, "It's the first bio fungicide for row crops, specifically corn. It's the first time we've been able to provide both insect and disease control in the same product."
